Implemented by the CIRa and funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). The planned objectives and activities of this three-year project are directed towards the effective implementation of the existing activities of the four program areas of operation of ANTIKO. The implementation of the program represents continuity in strengthening the organizational and institutional capacity of the executive office and the network of ANTIKOie the development of the capacities and resources of the individual members of the network - CSOs in working at the local level.
This project also creates opportunities foe realization of the program content and the project activities planned within the annual program of ANTIKO for 2012. The program of ANTIKO for 2012 includes : - incorporating a gender perspective in all policies and programs of institutions , LGUs, political parties ( lobbying and advocacy to advance the legislation , conducting analysis and research , capacity building of members / plans of political parties , members of Commissions on Equal opportunities for Women and Men at the local level , local authorities and other stakeholders in the community ), increase gender awareness and capacity of representatives of relevant institutions to recognize gender issues and needs - political empowerment of women of different ethnicities to participate actively in political processes and decision-making structures - social inclusion and encouraging activism among rural women and marginalized groups of women - a contribution to peace building by promoting non-violence , multi-ethnic cooperation and promotion of gender ( feminist ) ideology and politics in local and global level , as well as the promotion and implementation of UN Resolution 1325, raising public awareness of prevention and protection from gender-based violence, including sensitization of young people by creating positive attitudes about gender roles and concepts, eliminating gender bias and stereotypes and respect for human rights and freedoms - the development of volunteering practice, opportunity for young people to be educated, to gain new knowledge, experiences and skills useful for their future professional and social engagement.
